1. Look for the biggest combos – combos are clusters of the same color. You cannot essentially create big combos by strategically placing the bubbles you shoot, because when you connect 3 of the same color, the cluster gets destroyed. However, the game does add new layers of bubbles as the game progresses and these can come in massive same-color clusters. Look for these to clear the screen as fast as possible.
2. Clearing the board – Make sure you clear the board before the timer runs out. You get 1500 extra points just for clearing out the screen.
3. Timer score – Any remaining time at the end of clearing the screen adds a massive amount of score to the final score.
4. Hanging bubbles – If there is one yellow bubble hanging underneath a row of 2 blue bubbles, you can destroy the blue bubble row to get a guaranteed 100 score for that hanging yellow bubble. If you can spot these hanging bubbles, you can greatly increase your high score.
5. Before clearing the board – clear the board until you have 2 colors left. If you have at least 30 seconds remaining, keep on stacking up different colors (yes, not clearing the board). This way, the game will also add new layers of colors (only of the two colors remaining) and build a massive cluster for you to break in the end. This will give a big boost to the score. Since, it is only 2 colors remaining, clearing the board will be easy just under 10-5 seconds remaining.
